Douglas Woodward




Doug’s civil litigation practice is focused in the area of construction litigation. He represents national, regional and local construction companies in all types of litigation matters including but not limited to construction defect, lien enforcement defense and bond issues. He is admitted in both Alabama and Florida and currently handles cases in both states.

In 2008, Florida Trend Magazine named Doug as one of its Legal Elite, Rising Stars, Up and Coming under 40. In 2012-2014 he was named a “Florida Rising Star” by the Florida Super Lawyers Magazine. From 2015 through 2020 Doug has been named as a Super Lawyer in the area of construction litigation, a distinction given to less than 2.5 percent of lawyers in Florida.

Doug graduated from Cumberland School of Law in 2001. He earned his B.A. Degree, from Jacksonville State University in 1998.
